The C.R.D.O. Monterrei has ratified this morning his status as a permanent collaborator of Expourense, which will allow him to be present at all the promotional actions, fairs and events organized by the venue for this year. The signing of this agreement was carried out by the president of the Regulatory Council, Lara da Silva, and the managing director of the Expourense Foundation, Rogelio Martínez. Side. Monterrei has been a collaborating entity of the Foundation since 2015. This implies the participation of Monterrei in the different promotional actions that Expourense carries out throughout the year, especially in Portugal, in favor of the different cross-border cooperation agreements that the Foundation maintains with different entities of the Euroregion.
This special collaboration for 2021 has the participation in two of Expourense’s reference rooms: Xantar and Ourense VINIS TERRAE. The C.R.D.O. Monterrei, which has 27 wineries, will be present at the next hybrid edition of Ourense VINIS TERRAE, the Galician Quality Wine and Liquors Hall, which will be held on June 14 and 15, consolidating itself as an international event for the wineries of our community that contributes to position Galician wines in the foreign market.
Asimismo, se repetirá la participación en Xantar, Salón Internacional de Turismo Gastronómico, que tendrá lugar entre el 3 y el 07 de noviembre. Este Consejo Regulador participará en el Túnel del Vino, un área en la que se presenta a los visitantes la calidad y las variedades autóctonas gallegas. Además, los vinos de Monterrei maridarán los platos elaborados con productos de calidad de Galicia, dentro de los showcookings de Xantar, y formarán parte de una cata comentada.
With the signing of the agreement, both organizations will also be able to carry out trade missions whose objective is the promotion of wines, both in national territory and abroad.
Rogelio Martínez has shown his satisfaction with the signing of the agreement, which shows that many entities in the province trust the fairgrounds to publicize their products and services. For her part, Lara da Silva has stated that Expourense is a good showcase to enhance the brand image of the D.O. Monterrei, and publicize the wines that are made in the territory, both in the national and international markets.
