Confirmed winery, Atrium Vitis.

Atrium Vitis winery participates for the first time in the Ourense Vinis Terrae, Salón del Vino y Licores Gallegos de Calidad 2021.

Attached to the A.O. Ribeira Sacra since 2012 and located in Quiroga, in the province of Lugo, Bodegas Atrium Vitis produces parcel, artisan, terroir wines, made with minimal intervention. This family business recovers old vineyards and also its surroundings.

Surrounded by mountains with an exceptional microclimate, they cultivate 6 hectares in different latitudes and with very different soils. Its vineyards are located in the territory of the UNESCO World Geopark “Montañas do Caurel”, and there is also a Geological Museum due to the importance of geological findings and the uniqueness of the different soils.

Thus, with the 12 parcels that they work (some an authentic historical legacy that they strive to preserve despite the difficulty of cultivation), they make their “parcel wines” with the different ancestral Galician varieties and taking into account the uniqueness of their soils. .

They organize guided tours of the vineyards and wine tastings at the winery.
